  • Fabio Capello – ünlü bir teknik direktörün ingilizce hayatı

Fabio Capello was born on 18 June 1946 in Italy.

Although he is most famous as a football manager, as a winger Capello was capped for Italy and his clubs included Roma, Juventus and Milan.

After retiring from playing in 1980, Fabio Capello took some time before he broke into top-class football management. His first coaching job was with Milan’s youth team.

In 16 seasons in top-flight management at Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and Juventus Fabio Capello won the league title with each of them, and totalled nine domestic titles (not allowing for Juventus’s rescinded titles because of the Italian football corruption scandal).

Capello also won the 1994 Champions League with Milan when they beat Barcelona 4-0.

It was with Milan that Fabio Capello won four league championships in the 1990s before joining Real Madrid for the first time. After he won La Liga with Real in 1997, Capello returned to Milan.

He then made his move to Roma and they won Serie A with him at the helm in 2001.

Roma supporters felt betrayed when Capello then moved to Juventus in June 2004, where he won the league a couple of times.

Fabio Capello then returned to Real Madrid, where he won the title, in spite of having fallen out with David Beckham when he revealed he was moving to L.A. Galaxy. However, Capello was fired just 11 days after securing the title.

Capello then worked as a commentator on Italian television before becoming touted as the replacement for Steve McClaren as England manager.

On December 13, 2007 Fabio Capello was confirmed in the role of England manager.
